Download the stable version (2.0.2 at the time this tutorial was written). Choose the binary format for an easy and unintrusive installation. Extract the downloaded archive anywhere on your system and follow the instructions in RUNNING.txt. ------------- Getting ready ------------- Extract the gx_tutorial.zip archive to the GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR directory (look for its location in the console output after starting GeoServer - the default is a folder named data_dir). You should now be ready to launch the following url in your favorite browser: http://localhost:8080/geoserver/www/gx_tutorial/doc/index.html You're done.
